Applications run on PCs or smart cameras, they may address such tasks as: inspection, counting, gauging, positioning, identification, selection, surveillance and access control.

Machine Vision Express™ offers three development platforms, GUI, Python and C++. Each platform accommodates individual experiences, from simple drag and drop of functions with editor and visual simulator, to Python based scripting, as well as complex C++ programming. The library includes such advanced features as Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Pattern Matching and Barcode Recognition.

Machine Vision - SOFTWARE ENGINEER EMPLOYMENT

Position: Software Engineer

Location: Vista, California

Job Summary

Develop and maintain customer specific Machine Vision applications based on the company’s Machine Vision Express™ line of development tools. This will also include work on other software projects.

Essential Functions:

Participates in the requirements gathering, requirement analysis, design, code, test and maintenance phases of software application development
Ensures work-product is of high quality through the use of best practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience developing in GUI, Python or C++
Machine Vision/Image processing algorithm experience a big plus
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Minimum work experience:

3-5 years of experience as Software Engineer developing commercial applications.
